One of the most entertaining aspects of attending Watches & Wonders is the hushed rumours you hear fluttering around the showroom floor. Such and such celebrity has been spotted at such and such watch brand’s exhibition area. Rolex have released an off-catalogue collection. The latter normally turns out to be true, as in the case of the Rolex Emoji from 2023. For 2025 Rolex have some off-catalogue releases as well, a trio of Cosmograph Daytonas.
An off-catalogue release means that it’s not for sale to the general public and you won’t be able to walk into a boutique and find it on display. Instead, Rolex will only offer it to their most loyal clients behind closed doors. But even so, it’s always fun to look at the crazy designs that Rolex have deemed too special for general sale.

The first of the off-catalogue Rolex Daytonas is the Le Mans Everose Gold. Quite simply it’s a rose gold interpretation of the Le Mans Limited Edition from 2023. There was also a short lived yellow gold edition as well. This release is a case of Rolex seeing the popularity of those limited release and limited production watches and trying to find a way to capitalise without diluting the market and keeping the original models exclusive. You can tell it’s a Le Mans model because of the red 100 on the tachymeter bezel that was a celebration of the race’s centenary in 2023.
Second of the off-catalogue Daytonas is the ‘Blue Sapphire’, a white gold model with a gem-set bezel featuring (as expected) blue sapphires. The dial also features blue sapphire hour markers on top of a cool, grainy dial that shifts between shades of black and grey. The third off-catalogue Daytona is another gem-set one, a variation of the ‘Eye of the Tiger’ that replaces what used to be tiger’s eye stone with smooth, black lacquer. It makes what is one of Rolex’s most ostentatious watches a touch more subtle, though that’s only by a small degree considering the number of diamonds on display.
As off-catalogue releases there’s no official price, but if you’re picturing anything less than six figures, you’re delusional.
