Description
This compact 200m diver’s design is conveniently solar-powered; the watch charges from both natural and electric light with no need for a battery replacement. The dial features the PADI ‘Earth’ pattern, along with light blue colour highlights for high legibility in deep waters to clearly demonstrate the time elapsed whilst diving. The PADI timepiece collection is exclusive to Seiko, the only global watch brand to design a range of professional diver’s watches in official colours featuring the PADI logo. PADI (The Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world’s leading scuba diving training organisation, unifying divers around the globe who share a passion for adventure and love for the ocean. Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications.’ Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable; to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for sports lovers and adventure seekers alike. Since launching Japan’s first diver’s watch in 1965, Seiko’s innovative watchmaking has changed global dive watch standards. This Seiko SNE575P1 Prospex watch combines a 38.5mm round shaped stainless steel case and bracelet with a triple folding clasp and push button. It has a black bezel and black analogue dial with Lumibrite coated hands, indexes and bezel, in addition to a date display, all of which is protected beneath scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass. Power is generated by the Calibre V147 solar powered movement which can operate for approximately 10 months when fully charged. This model also has a unidirectional rotating bezel, a water resistance of up to 200 metres, overcharge prevention, and weighs 149 grams.
