Seiko Watch Corporation began in Ginza, Tokyo in 1881 as a watch and clock repair business and have been making innovations in watchmaking ever since. This particular design, with an eye-catching blue bezel, is one of the 140th anniversary collection timepieces marking key periods in the brand’s history, is a modern recreation of the very first Japanese diving watch which was made by Seiko in 1965. With 6,000 pieces available globally, the Seiko SPB213J1 Prospex watch combines a 40.5mm stainless steel case and a stainless steel bracelet with a push button deployment clasp. It has a silver tone analogue dial which is protected beneath sapphire crystal glass. Power is generated by the automatic movement. This model also has a water resistance of up to 200 metres.
