Surrounding the dial is the attractive unidirectional rotating bezel, combining a contrasting silver minute’s scale with a black ceramic background creating a useful and stylish attribute to the piece. A series of silver batons positioned around the dial act as hour markers with a minute’s display in between, with only 12 o’clock displayed by its number. A trio of dial hands represent the current hour, minutes and seconds, consisting of a duo of commanding pointed silver hands teamed with a more slender and orange tipped pointer. Two sub dials located at 3 and 9 o’clock act as seconds, 60 minutes and 12 hour counters, with the one positioned to the right hosting an extra orange hand. A date display at 6 o’clock offers a useful additional feature, alongside the luminescent qualities present on the dial hands and hour indicators allowing the dial to be viewed in low light scenarios. OMEGA’s world renowned logo and branding are situated below 12 o’clock in a silver tone, accompanied by the watches collection and extreme water resistance of 600 metres applied in orange providing stylish finer details. The Master Chronometer calibre 9900 in this watch has achieved its status by passing a series of meticulous tests set by METAS, and can be seen through the fantastic transparent case back.
