Didn’t know what to expect with this watch but am very happy. The automatic movement hasn’t missed a beat since I first put it on. I will admit it took a little while to get used to looking at a skeleton movement but the lightness and construction of the watch more than made up for those first days of working out where the hands were. Overall very impressed with this brand and the price for a very good automatic watch.

CIGA Design Automatic Mechanical Watch. This is a steampunk inspired Eye of Horus wristwatch which has a really unique and attention catching design.This wristwatch is designed for those that really want to make a statement. It has a back-to-front transparent case which showcases the X-shaped Caliber CD-01 self-winding movement. The bio ceramic case looks great whilst the soft silicone strap is comfortable to wear. I received the black version which aesthetically looks really superb, as mentioned earlier it’s a real eye catcher which combines style with engineering excellence.The automatic movement is accurate and holds its time well aslong as you keep it active. With it being lightweight and comfortable to wear it’s no chore wearing it overnight and due to it’s finish the watch is scratch and shock resistant making it ideal for day to day wear. Finally I have to say that presentation is fantastic, it’s obvious that CIGA have put a lot of thought into their branding and it really shows. The quality is excellent, it holds its time well and if you can get it on an offer it is definitely decent value for money. It would make an excellent gift and I’d happily recommend it.

I like the watch a lot and wear it regularly which is quite a feat given I have other watches and I stopped wearing a watch altogether for the last 2 years. It is quite light and the strap is comfortable so I barely notice it is there and even sleep with it on sometimes. It looks great and I would say it both feels and looks like it is of high quality. My only issue is that as an older man who needs reading glasses it is hard to read the time as the edge of the two hands is white and it blends in with all the silver. It would have been better if these were a more stand out colour to make reading the time quicker and requiring less focus.

I have quite a few watches and generally the packaging consists of a fairly boring branded cardboard box, a watch cushion, a warranty, and if you’re very lucky, a set of instructions. “Ciga design” have really gone above and beyond when it comes to their packaging. I really appreciate the innovative approach they’ve taken to creating something quite unique and interesting. Opening the pages of what looks like a book the first page tells us about the “Eye of Horus”, before then discovering the watch, and at the end of the book we have instructions. I love the amount of thought they’ve put into this.The watch, embedded within the middle pages of the book, has to be assembled before wearing. The straps have to be attached to the watch but, due to the quick release spring bars, this is very easy and quick to do. Once on the wrist the first thing I noticed was just how incredibly soft and pliable the silicone strap is. It’s probably one of the most comfortable traps I’ve worn. It’s not inflexible and tough like some dive watch straps. The watch is very light compared to any other automatic watches I’ve owned. It feels more like you’re wearing a Casio G-Shock rather than something containing an automatic movement. The watch really has some serious wrist presence, its very eye catching, but due to the dark colours it’s not overly garish. It manages to grab you’re attention without being blingy.The Caliber CD-01 movement is aesthetically very attractive and a good choice for a skeletonised watch. I love looking at watch movements and you get a very nice view from both the front and back of the watch. Obviously there’s no date as a date wheel would obscure the inner workings of the movement. One downside is that it does take a second or two to find the hour and minute hands when telling the time. However you do get more adept at finding the hands the more you wear it. The watch takes some design cues from the likes of Richard Mille, and Hublot, except at a massively reduced price. If you can’t afford the price tag of the aforementioned watches, and not many of us can, this is a great alternative that captures a similar look for a fraction of the price. It does however have it’s own character and isn’t a direct homage of any of these watches.The dimensions of the watch may seem quite large but, because there are almost no lugs to speak of, it actually wears very well on my 6.75″ wrist. It doesn’t look too large at all.Overall I’m very happy with this watch. I like it’s unusual and daring design. The packaging is innovative and it’s also incredibly comfortable.

Alternative brand, high quality, design and price
It’s one of the best alternative watches to luxury ones I’ve seen. The quality is excellent, very lightweight, and the skeleton design is very original. I think CIGA is doing a great job capturing their customers’ needs and offering a unique product at a very reasonable price.

Si capisce subito già dal packaging che ci troviamo di fronte ad un prodotto di estrema qualità costruttiva, una mini opera d’arte al vostro polso.La presentazione è davvero incredibile, il modello si chiama occhio di horus e all’interno della custodia ci sono alcune pagine dedicate proprio alla storia ed al concept.L’orologio è davvero stupendo, realizzato a regola d’arte con materiali top, cassa in bioceramica e vetro temperato, ossidiana incastonata sulla corona, cinturino in silicone super morbido.Questo orologio è meccanico ed automatico, non possiede dunque batteria interna e si ricarica manualmente garantendo una lunga durata.Adoro questo pezzo in quanto amante della storia egizia e dei suoi misteri, questo pezzo è davvero unico e dona al proprio outfit un tocco super elegante.La notte si illumina anche al buio in modo da avere un ottima visibilità anche in scarse condizioni di luce.Se anche voi siete rimasti catturati dal suo design unico e vi piace questo genere di orologi, ve lo consiglio.

Sie ist ein wunderschönes Accessoire und besticht durch ihre einzigartige Optik und hervorragende Qualität.Besonders gut gefällt uns, dass es sich um eine mechanische, analoge Uhr handelt und keinen digitalen Schnickschnack. Genau dadurch entsteht auch der Wow-Effekt, denn das Skelett-Uhrwerk ist sowohl von oben als auch von unten in seinen faszinierenden Einzelteilen zu sehen.Inspiriert von dem mystischen Auge des Horus wartet dieses Kunstwerk mit einem einzigartigen Design auf.
