Humour and haute horology aren’t often things that go hand in hand but when it comes to H. Moser & Cie., they’re a brand who can see the fun side of watchmaking. Whether that be through straight up funny watches like the “Perpetual Calendar For Dummies” or simply embracing bright colours like the Citrus. However, focussing on colour, the majority of their watches tend to be monochromatic, riffing on shades of a single colour per watch. Now though, they’re throwing that out of the window with the launch of the riotous, multi-coloured H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Concept Pop Collection with precious stone dials.
There are six editions split across three Endeavour models, the Endeavour Small Seconds, Endeavour Tourbillon and Endeavour Minute Repeater Tourbillon. The stones are Burmese jade, turquoise, coral, pink opal, lapis lazuli, lemon chrysoprase and the combinations are as follows: jade + pink opal, pink opal + jade, lapis lazuli + lemon chrysoprase, lemon chrysoprase + lapis lazuli, turquoise + coral, coral + turquoise.
The first material denotes the primary colour of the watch and the second the accent colour and as you can see, the six schemes are actually inversions of the same three material combinations. Let’s look at the individual details of each model.
H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Small Seconds Concept Pop
The Small Seconds is the simplest of the Concept Pop editions with a 38mm steel case housing the HMC 202 automatic movement with 72-hour power reserve. The dial incredibly minimalist with just the primary stone occupying the majority of the display with the secondary stone for the small seconds subdial at 12 o’clock. Beyond the delicately shaped hands, there are no other markings or logos. It’s a limited edition of 28 pieces per colour, priced at CHF 30,500 (approx. £26,750).

H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Pop
Introducing an haute horology element to the display is the Tourbillon Concept Pop, which has its titular tourbillon at 6 o’clock. Because there’s no subdial like the small seconds above, the secondary precious stone is purely decorative in a ring around the central hands. Below the dial here is the HMC 805, a slightly larger movement than the 202, which is why the case is also larger at a diameter of 40mm in steel. It’s limited to eight pieces per colour priced at CHF 75,000 (approx. £65,775).

H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Minute Repeater Tourbillon Concept Pop
Last up and the most prestigious out of the H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Concept Pop trio is the Minute Repeater Tourbillon. As previously mentioned it swaps the steel case for rose gold with a 40mm diameter, increasing the luxury aspect of the watch. The stone here is split between the primary colour on the upper layer of the dial and the secondary, which is the lower layer around the periphery below the minute repeater chimes. Those chimes form part of the HMC 904 manual-winding movement with 90-hour power reserve. Each of the minute repeater tourbillons is a unique piece in its colour and are price on request.
