After many rumours and more than a few wild and inaccurate predictions, including our own, [LINK TO: https://oracleoftime.com/rolex-watch-predictions-2025/]  Rolex have finally put everyone out of their misery by revealing their release slate of 2025. From an anniversary celebration of the GMT-Master II to the brand new Land-Dweller with integrated bracelet. Without further ado, let’s look at every new Rolex from Watches & Wonders 2025.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller

What will likely be the most talked about release of the year is the brand new Rolex Land-Dweller. An integrated bracelet sports watch that takes the classic fluted bezel and matching fluted dial motif inspired by the 2021 Datejust, though with a more exaggerated hexagonal pattern that Rolex are calling honeycomb. The case, with that new “flat jubilee” integrated bracelet, is available in 40 or 36mm in a range of materials including white Rolesor, Everose gold and platinum.

Beneath the dials, which are white for the Rolesor and Everose models and ice blue for the platinum in classic Rolex fashion, is the Calibre 7135. It’s a development of the 7140 from the 1908 model and features a perpetual rotor, hi-beat 36,000 vph frequency and a 66-hour power reserve. Plus, in the continued roll out of exhibition casebacks from Rolex, you can view the Côtes de Genève finishing.

At 40mm, in white Rolesor (Oystersteel and white gold) it’s £13,050, in Everose it’s £40,300 and in platinum it’s £54,600. Adding diamonds to the bezel adds approx. £50k to each of those prices while downsizing to 36mm reduces the price slightly.

Rolex GMT-Master II New Dials

On the 70th anniversary of the Rolex GMT Master, Rolex have released a new edition of the Rolex GMT-Master II Sprite in white gold with a ceramic dial in green, the signature colour of Rolex. It’s a far cry from the resurrected Coke that collectors dream for, but perhaps a more thematic release for the anniversary year. Like the original Sprite it remains a Destro model, meaning the crown is at 9 o’clock instead of 3. With that new green dial it feels very much like a Hulk-ified version of the Sprite – perhaps it should be called Monster Energy. Specs-wise it’s identical to its 2022 predecessor with the Calibre 3285 and 40mm diameter, though of course it’s more luxe with that gold case.

A second GMT-Master II edition is the Iron Tiger, which follows in the footsteps of Rolex’s more Avante Garde precious stone watches of previous years like the Leopard Daytona. Though thankfully it’s not quite that extreme. The dial is made from a variety of tiger’s eye known as tiger iron due to the presence of red jasper and hematite giving it a particularly intense colouration.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Pastels

With the discontinuation of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Celebration model, there’s a lot more room in the collection for colourful dials. Though Rolex haven’t gone completely overboard, instead choosing to break out the pastel colour palette. We have the Lavendar 28, Beige 36 and Pistachio 41. It’s also interesting that each colour appears to be restricted to a specific size rather than having all three available at all three sizes. I guess Rolex are hoping you’ll buy all three rather than just your preferred colour at your preferred size. Because of the varying sizes they either hold the Calibre 2232 or Calibre 3230.

Rolex Daytona Yellow Gold Turquoise

Ice blue is often reserved for Rolex’s platinum models but the Daytona is bucking that trend by presenting a yellow gold edition with a lacquer turquoise dial. It’s very impressive with its splash of colour set into the seriousness of the gold case and black subdials. It almost feels like it shouldn’t work, the clash between cool blue and warm gold, but somehow it does. It’s priced at £31,750.

Rolex Sky-Dweller Green

While the focus is on its new Land-Dweller cousin, the Sky-Dweller is still here with its signature dual time zone display. Now it’s presented with a new green dial in that signature Rolex shade. Presented in yellow gold, this watch might as well be a walking advertisement for everything Rolex stands for and their heritage colours.

Datejust Red Ombré

Rolex Datejust

Ombré gradients have been a favourite of Rolex’s high end dress watches in the past few years. The Oscar edition from a couple of years ago was very popular for a while. Now though, as a new Rolex for 2025, it’s presented in full glitz and glamour as part of the main collection with diamond indexes and a matching diamond bezel. It really is full movie stardom. At 31mm it’s definitely a feminine piece by design with that petite case housing the Calibre 2236.

1908 Settimo Bracelet

Rolex 1908

The 1908 yellow gold from 2023 is now available on a brand new bracelet, the Settimo in yellow gold. It’s a lightweight 7-link bracelet in a beads or rice style, adding an extra degree of elegance to the collection. It makes for a nice metallic alternative to the leather strap it was previously presented on without straying into the sporty realms of the oyster bracelet or Jubilee.
